The Brooke Supporters on a sponsered walk The Brooke - Horses in Need

Breyer UK are delighted to be supporting the Brooke’s annual Horses in Need fundraising campaign this summer.

Every year, the Brooke helps their supporters to arrange and hold a variety of fundraising activities and events to raise money for the Brooke’s work with hardworking horses and donkeys in some of the world's poorest communities. The Brooke help to get things rolling by sending out fundraising packs and enabling each fundraiser to set up their own personal web page about their chosen activity. Fundraisers are then encouraged to promote their event and gain as much sponsorship as possible, both via the personal web pages and through coverage in their local media – another area where the Brooke can help out.

Breyer UK are helping put the FUN into FUNdraising by donating 100 of their popular Party Packs, the idea being that the fundraiser organizes a Pony Painting Party as part of their planned activities and charges a small sum for each person to attend the party and paint a model horse. The Packs are certainly proving popular as around half of the packs have already been sent out at the date of writing, with some weeks to go before the Horses in Need campaign is officially launched in July!

The Brooke is delighted with the response to this year’s campaign as a whole, which is promising to be the biggest and best so far! Events and activities planned include a talent show being held by 100 Brownies, a jazz and rock concert, a sponsored donkey walk and sponsored grooming and riding events as well as the Breyer Pony Parties.
